RELAUNCH : Sleek studio Skincare Range

 Last Sunday 5th of July, sleek studio re-launched their skin care range of products in a high class, fun filled event at the classy sleek studio square resource center in Victoria island Lagos.

Sleek Studio Skincare range comprises of 2 main Products :

•  Exfoliating Range
• Lightening Range.

The Exfoliating Range :

This is for individuals who do not actually want to lighten but only want their true skin colour to show forth. This range eliminates dullness and allows bright natural colour to show through. This comprises of 5 products namely; Come clean , scrub away my troubles, protect me restore me, Neu skin reveal , Neu skin reveal more.

The Lightening Range: 

This range has been produced with high quality lightening agents that do not damage the skin. This is for those who wish to lighten their skin and will have to borrow one or two items from the exfoliating range to achieve maximum results . This comprises of 4 products namely; Clean n Lighten, Tone n Lighten , Lightning in a bottle and Lightning in a jar.

Massive backdrop of sleek studio model both male and female was strategically placed around the venue

Experience points with sales rep who helped all attendants in the touch and feel of the products are strategically positioned.

This part was awesome because, sleek studio Exfoliating Range is the most used group of items in my current skin care routine. So i am happy to have new stock (lol!) and i will be hosting a giveaway of the lightening range soon.

  

 Being a Sunday afternoon, i attended the event with my twin boys immediately from church and it was more work to run after them and keep them from re-arranging / scattering the beautiful set-up. They had fun as i did.

PRODUCT REVIEW: MILANI LIP GLOSS REVIEW AND SWATCHES

Milani new lip gloss collection "brilliant shine"came into Nigeria through it's official distributors Innovative Marketing @ oregun and in my usual style i have all the scoop with pictures and swatches.

Pros: 

• Great texture (smooth with no particles or granules) 
• Very glossy but not sticky 
• Long lasting over 6 hours keeps lips moisturised 

Cons: 

• colour fades after 3 hours, though the lip is still moisturised for an extra 3 hours

MILANI CORAL CRUSH  10- Glossy coral colour with no shimmer.

MILANI SWEET GRAPEFRUIT 09- A deeper coral with no shimmer

MILANI BARE SECRET 01- Perfect brownish nude with no shimmer 

MILANI ILLUMINOUS 03- Pinkish gold with shimmers

MILANI MAUVE FETISH 04 - Light purple with golden shimmer highlight

PRODUCT REVIEW: LISE TWILIGHT

Hello guys, 

I attended lise meet and review party. It was fun, as there was music, lots to eat and drink, a very warm and  friendly ambiance with great customer service.

Now let's delve into the makeup products. My word is varieties,  there were loads of different things up for grabs , great quality and fantastic prices. 

I am particularly in love with her lipsticks,  they were mind blowing various colours in different textures- all pigmented and long lasting.

Here are a couple of pictures using her product. 

TWILIGHT

PROS:

• Very Matte
• Very pigmented
• Long lasting
• Perfect shade of purple for both fair and dark skinned people.

CONS:

• Very dry
• Packaging not fantastic 

THE GLOSS OVER

PRODUCT:   9/10

TEXTURE:  8/10

LONGEVITY:  9/10

PACKAGE: 5/10

OVERALL:  8.2/10

Will i buy this product again?   YES I WILL.
Will i recommend this product to others? YES I WILL.

So there you have it, i love this lipstick and if you are bold enough you will rock it too.

N.B: If you have a naturally dry lips, please use a lip balm to avoid chapped and scaly lips.

PRODUCT REVIEW: SLEEK EYE SHADOW

Sleek eyeshadow, in one form or another is in the make purse of about 50% Nigerians between the ages 20-30. So there is no doubt about the fact that sleek is a very popular brands in Nigeria.
Am going to be review one of their most selling brand of eye shadow "divine mineral based eyeshadow" specifically - safari 572".

What sparked my interest in this particular type is the fact that it contains matte colors.
Here are my obervations.
 The matte colors come out very sheer and didn't improve much even with eye shadow primer/base
 The shimmer eye shadows were fantastic, highly pigmented, very little fallout as compared to its storm version or even TARA HIP.
 It also contain a nice variety of colour, a very good shade of chapiagn and deep bronze that can be used everyday if you don't mind shimmers both colors blend well and they will sooth our African skin tone, whether light, medium or dark.
 One down side is that it doesn't have shades of blue, which would have been nice for those that wear a lot of blue jeans but it makes up for this by having various shades of green.note: if you are particular about blue as a color then buy their " divine mineral based eyeshadow - ORIGINAL".

VERDICT.
The shimmer eye shadows were fantastic, highly pigmented, very little fallout. The matte colors come out very sheer and didn't improve much even with eye shadow primer/base BUT NOTE THAT there were few matte(2) and more shimmer(10) - so you still get you money worth. More over i used the neutral shade of matte for blending.
