NUDE LOOK

Looking natural is the in-thing this season, so this my vision for colored skin looking nude.

First i used the concealer to cover the spots, then i blended with foundation and i used the powder to give it all a matte look.
Rimed the inner eye rim with kohl black pencil, smudged it outside the outer corner of the lowerlids, then i covered the entire eyelid with bronze eye shadow darker on the lower lids and lighter on the brow bone.
Lips were done in orange toned bronze lip gloss

FOCUS: LIPS

Working on one of my favorite models,Joy is a darling. And today we are rocking the bronze eyes - RED lip combo for a music video shoot.
I used two shades of bronze eyeshadow,one all over the lower lids and a light one to highlight. Cream blush on the apple of check and of course matte RED on her lips.
For her lips i first penciled in wine all over the lips and then blue flame red all over the lip, blotted and reapplied.
I really loved this look, so be sure am going to re-use it. Enjoy restructuring it to suit your face.Love CIAO!

BUSHY EYE BROWS
Full eyebrows can be equally difficult to work with, so here is my honest advice "consult a profesional makeup artist" but am sure thats not what you want to hear. You all want me to share some trade secret that will ensure you dont spend more money to achieve great brow.

Well here it is; two simple and straight styles.
STYLE 1:Find the look/type of brow you will love, use a pencil to line it on your brows ensure its equal. Then use a razor or tweezer to take off any hair that doesn't fall in line with your desired look
STYLE 2: Get stencils, the most popular brand is e.l.f, place it on the brows and tweeze off all hair that doesn't fall in line with the stencil. Trim off excess lenght with baby scissors and voila! beautiful brow.Enjoy....

EYE BROWS

OVER TWEEZED EYE BROW
Over tweezed eyebrow, is a regular occurence, wether its due to lack of professionalism on the part of your makeup artist or a mistake on yours. You have a choice on correcting it and i will be sharing tips on how to fill those brows.

Product you will need:
1.eye pencil in any shade of brown that suits your skin tone
2.Brow powder
3.Brow gel.

First you use the pencil to draw a line where u imagine your proper brows should be, ensure the pencil is very sharp. Trace this line in a skecthing form both up and down. Then use the brow powder to fill in between both lines. Set with a brow gel to give a natural look.
It is as easy as that, don't worry if you don't get it the first time am sure if you keep practicing you will get the hang of it.

But for a long term solution, let your brow grow full - yes full and unrully bear with for a while and then get a professional to give you a good shape. Pending the time enjoy, love.

SILVERY SMOKEY EYES - RELOADED

Smokey eyes And Red lips

Same steps as in my previous blog for the eyes but i decided to give it a twist with bright red lip stick and more bronzer.
Which do u prefare?

SILVERY SMOKEY EYES

My version of silver smokey eyes, and nude lips.

Rimmed my eyes wit kohl black pencil, smugded and blended wit black eye shadow then i layered silver two different shades.highlight was done with a skin colored eye shadow.
My lips were penciled with brown lip pencil and blended with brown cream lip stick

Feeling Blue

Today has been great, i woke up with my creative juices flowing and i decided to go BLUE.Iya Basira is my cleaning lady she also works for my neighbor but she is not around to clean my house today but as a model for my BLUE DAY,enjoy the picture

I decided to go RED on the lip,more bronzer and this is what you get.

This are the products i used, Black Opal total coverage concealing foundation, Mary kay medium coverage foundation, Black Opal blusher, all Eye shadows are Tint except for Sleek eye shadow deep blue i used to contour and sleek bronzer

The theme for this shoot is PINK and focus on the LIPS. Dealing with two ladies of different age group meant i had to adapt the concept to sooth each person. Mrs Alabi the first lady is 9months pregnant so the look for her was Sultry,Sexy yet ELEGANT.

Mrs Alabi being 9 months pregnant was in the middle of major skin discoloration

Lips looks sexy,eyes look sultry and the Brows are bold

 The concept for Funmi girly pink lips, properly defined brows,lots of bronzer and mascara

Finally over finished effect is fantastic, Mrs Alabi(in fushia pink on d right)  gave birth one week after this shoot
