MAKEUP SUNDAY: POP YELLOW

Its Sunday once again and i have on yellow and green. am sure i got a lot of weird not so complementary looks in church but really - i don't care. Matte yellow is not your average eye shadow colour and mixing it with green in this format is not common either but that was what jumped out of my box and i must say i love it.

So this was the starting point, after i cleaned up under the eye area, applied foundation, powder and lip stick this is what we arrived at.

Here i felt my thrive for nude lips made my lips was too bland so i added a little plum to line the lips. And now i feel complete.

No blush, i just felt it wasn't necessary for the look.

PURPLE, PLUM AND PINK

Sundays are my favourite days of the week because i have a perfect excuse to wear makeup - CHURCH. i always ensure i go out of my way to do a full face makeup sometime i throw in eyelashes to finish off the wow look. here is another such sunday, precisely yesterday. 

 i went all out for purple even though i had nothing close to purple in my ensemble but the colour just jumped our of my pallet screaming pick me and i did.

 The idea was to create a smokey effect without using black. So i mixed two shades of purple with a lot of blending. Just when i was done i noticed a sleek eye shadow i have had for ages un- used, i used my finger to pat a slightly brighter purple colour on the eyes.

 For my lips it was a mixture of deep plum and peach, but the plum swallowed the peach and gave it a different look that i loved so it stayed on.

Whenever i do makeup, i feel great and happy. so when monday came and tried dragging me down. i went into my box and i created this look.

 I instantly felt better. make-up just always put me in a great mood.

 i threw head gear just for fun, sampling the one-sided gele i love so much.

But it wasn't working for me so i reduced the width and tuck in the flap and viola! this is much better.

Recently i found a very tight bond to nude eyes so you will be seeing a lot nude eyes and lips, few bold lip colour and some dash of wild eye colour have fun and request for product details and tutorial if you want recreate any of this looks 

WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT TIWA SAVAGE'S MAKEUP

what is not to love about this beautiful song bird? She is hot, sexy with a lovely voice. But today what we will be analysing her makeup style and how it makes her sexy,serious, playful,innocent and more.

SEXY

Smokey eyes, red lips just brings Angelina Jolie to my mind. She is one of the sexiest women in the world and  Tiwa Savage is our own version of Jolie. Her face is structured highlights on the T zone, under eye area and the chin. the smokey is kept just up above the lids and the lips are matte red. This look is a classic any day - any time.

SERIOUS

Don't you just want to take her serious in this look, anything she says will believable. The deep plum coloured lips made this look. So achieve this retro 80's look by minimizing your eye make up and focus on the lips

POP OF COLOUR

Doesn't she just look playful? The vibrancy of that colour made the entire look, and the fact that it was used without blending it out but left in a cut crease fashion gives it more "piz-zazz". Note that every other path of  look was kept nude/neutral so that he colour truly pops and thus becomes the centre of attention. Get this neon yellow look with a manly 120 eyeshadow pallet or lise 88 original pallet, am sure mac as a colour this bright in their pigments but i don't know its name.

THE INNOCENT 

OMG! this is almost my best look for her, sooo innocent yet sexy. The hair also emphasized the school girlish look. Who would not want to look this good for her 16th birthday. I am official all for this look its the perfect everyday make up look, no eye shadow just powder your eyes lids, double  coat your lashes with mascara and finish off with a nude gloss
