So the maybelline makeup fair has come and gone, it was mega fun and networking at its best. I met new makeup artist and reconnected with old ones and it was pictures all the way.

For those who got to attend the maybelline masterclass, they will explain  how much fun it was and vice versa but i didn't  attend because contrary to what was advertised saying "makeup masterclass was free" there was a price tag of buying makeup products worth 5,000 naira and since i didn't buy products worth 5,000 naira i couldn't attend. However, reports from grapevine say it was fun.

Overall the programme was well organised, the venue was spacious and well air conditioned, parking was easy, so its a thumbs up from me.

PRODUCT REVIEW: MILANI LIP GLOSS REVIEW AND SWATCHES

Milani new lip gloss collection "brilliant shine"came into Nigeria through it's official distributors Innovative Marketing @ oregun and in my usual style i have all the scoop with pictures and swatches.

Pros: 

• Great texture (smooth with no particles or granules) 
• Very glossy but not sticky 
• Long lasting over 6 hours keeps lips moisturised 

Cons: 

• colour fades after 3 hours, though the lip is still moisturised for an extra 3 hours

MILANI CORAL CRUSH  10- Glossy coral colour with no shimmer.

MILANI SWEET GRAPEFRUIT 09- A deeper coral with no shimmer

MILANI BARE SECRET 01- Perfect brownish nude with no shimmer 

MILANI ILLUMINOUS 03- Pinkish gold with shimmers

PRODUCT REVIEW: LISE TWILIGHT

Hello guys, 

I attended lise meet and review party. It was fun, as there was music, lots to eat and drink, a very warm and  friendly ambiance with great customer service.

Now let's delve into the makeup products. My word is varieties,  there were loads of different things up for grabs , great quality and fantastic prices. 

I am particularly in love with her lipsticks,  they were mind blowing various colours in different textures- all pigmented and long lasting.

Here are a couple of pictures using her product. 

TWILIGHT

PROS:

• Very Matte
• Very pigmented
• Long lasting
• Perfect shade of purple for both fair and dark skinned people.

CONS:

• Very dry
• Packaging not fantastic 

THE GLOSS OVER

TEXTURE:  8/10

LONGEVITY:  9/10

PACKAGE: 5/10

OVERALL:  8.2/10

Will i buy this product again?   YES I WILL.
Will i recommend this product to others? YES I WILL.

So there you have it, i love this lipstick and if you are bold enough you will rock it too.

N.B: If you have a naturally dry lips, please use a lip balm to avoid chapped and scaly lips.

Following the success of its first edition of The Portharcourt MakeUp Fair (PMUF) which took place 9th March 2013 , The organisers of the MakeUp Fair Series presents the second edition of The portharcourt MakeUp Fair (PMUF2)

PMUF2 is the 9th edition in The MakeUp Fair series which is a makeup and beauty shopping extravaganza make up and beauty shopping gala intended to provide a platform for professionals in the business of make up and beauty, to showcase and demonstrate their products to a select target audience of potential customers and business partners. The exhibition would include categories like make up products, tools & personal care materials, Wellness & Spa, Hair care products and accessories.

There will also be a lot of giveaways like free makeovers, free make up advice, shopping, food as well as presentations, make up demos, networking, music and loads of fun.
